Application Procedure

Selecting the best school for your child is an important first step toward a successful school experience. Bunker Hills Academy encourages each prospective parent to visit our campus and become acquainted with our program, goals, and objectives. Please call the school office and make arrangements for your visit.

At the end of January each year we begin our monthly Open House opportunities for parents and students to stop by and meet our administration and some of our faculty to discuss questions you may have and take a tour of our classrooms and campus. We can show you the curriculum we use and you can take with you the curriculum sheets for each grade you are interested in. These tell you exactly what our student will be studying in each subject for the entire year.

You may also pick up an information and application packet to look over and fill out and return if you choose to attend Bunker Hill Academy. Each year we set a January deadline for current students to re-enroll at BHA and then we open admissions to students on our waiting lists and new students.

Enrollment information, including student application materials, tuition and fees, and details of the annual registration process are available at our monthly Open House or upon request by a call or visit to our office.

Bunker Hills Academy is open to all students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school.

Before and After School Programs

Bunker Hills Academy offers Before and After School Programs for the convenience of our working parents.

Before School - We provide teacher supervision from 7:00am until school begins at 7:45am.

After School - We provide adult supervision from 2:30pm until 6:00pm. Students may finish their home-work, play outside (weather permitting), play in the gym, computer practice, and have snack time.

Cost - is $4.00 per hour (or portion of hour) for each student. The total for each month will be billed to your monthly billing. There is a $30.00 per student registration fee that must accompany the Registration Form.

Bunker Hills Academy Tuition and Fee Schedule - 2008-2009

REGISTRATION AND MATERIAL FEES	Registration Fee: A non-refundable Registration Fee is due with each student application.
		$150.00 per student
	or	$300.00 per family


Material Fee: A non-refundable Material Fee is due March 1, 2007 or upon registration.
	Kindergarten 3 & 4	year olds	$175.00 per student
	Kindergarten		$175.00 per student
	Grades 1 - 6		$200.00 per student
	Grades 7 - 12		$200.00 per student


TUITION:	Yearly Tuition is payable on an 11 month payment schedule - July 1, 2008 through May 1, 2009
	...the monthly tuition ceiling for any family is $1500.00 per month.

	Kindergarten 3 & 4 year olds-
	Full Time	$425.00 - ($4,675.00)
	Part Time	$325.00 - ($3,575.00)
	Grades K - 6	$450.00 - ($4,950.00)
	Grades 7 - 12	$475.00 - ($5,225.00)

DISCOUNT:	Pre-payment of yearly tuition by July 1, 2008 entitles you to a 5% discount.
	There is a $200.00 discount per child, for active members of Riverdale Church.

SCHOLARSHIPS:	Scholarships may be available each year. Please call the administrator for details.

PROMOTION:	For the 2008-2009 school year, when a BHA family brings a new student or family who enroll for the entire school year, the BHA Family will receive a $500.00 discount off their last tuition payment of the school year.

FUNDRAISING FEE:	BHA requests each family to participate in our yearly fundraising campaign to cover the cost of projects not covered in the tuition schedule. We are requiring that families assist students to raise $150.00 per student in our Marathon Fundraiser, or pay the equivalent by the next billing cycle.



ACTIVITY FEE:	This fee is for student activities such as band, art, sports, field trips, programs, etc.; and will be billed in each incurring month.


BEFORE & AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS:	These programs will run from 7:00 A.M. until the beginning of the regular school day, and from the end of the regular school day until 6:00 P.M. There will be a fee for each student attending (see B & A application form). A separate short application form must accompany a $30.00 non-refundable registration fee.
